THE IDEA
For it’s 40th anniversary, the 1:1 Diet and Richer View teams wanted to put on a show. This was to be unlike any of the 1:1 Diet Lives that have gone before, and the vision was for a grander, more innovative production, complete with a multi-level stage design for a variety of performances, backstage areas for performers, and an overall seamlessly run event that would leave a lasting impression on the attendees. The goal was to balance creativity and technical excellence, whilst maximising the value for the client.
THE REALITY
Encore and Richer View have a long-standing relationship of building successful events together, so we were delighted to help them transform this vision into reality with an end-to-end technical production solution. Together, we designed a split-level stage, with raised areas of varying heights, which would allow for dynamic movement and engaging performances.
To further accommodate the performers and key note speakers, Encore built a spacious backstage area, complete with dressing rooms and a green room. The result was a professional, comfortable environment which allowed the talent to wholly focus on their roles for the event.
The 1:1 Diet Live was another chance for successful collaboration between Encore and Richer View, and our close working relationship meant that we were on hand throughout the process, from the initial conception and design, to the site visits and production meetings, and always on the end of a phone call to ensure everything was meticulously planned out. The Encore team managed all aspects of the technical setup, including lighting, sound and video infrastructure, and were there to ensure each element ran smoothly on the night.
THE OUTCOME
The event was an overwhelming success, and Encore received glowing feedback from Richer View, the 1:1 Diet team and the attendees. The unique stage design, flawless execution and expert technical production set a new standard for these events.
