Each year, Hyatt EU brings together leadership and top clients for their Corporate Meetings & Events Roundtable at one of their flagship properties. For 2020, Hyatt invited clients from the banking, consultancy and pharmaceutical sectors to discuss the future landscape of events at this virtual roundtable.

Client Needs

With COVID-19 restrictions making it difficult to bring everyone together from across the region, we worked alongside our sister company Concise to support Hyatt in pivotting the meeting to virtual. We aimed to create a safe, polished and professional virtual experience that would complement the standards that clients expect from in-person meetings at Hyatt properties.

Solution

With Hyatt’s objectives, audience and agenda in mind, we designed the Chime Live platform and advised on ways to keep engagement levels high throughout the meeting. The virtual roundtable incorporated live video streaming, with individual speakers and panellists.

At key points throughout the presentation, polls and word clouds were deployed to gauge participants’ opinions, which helped guide the conversation. Participants were also given the opportunity to ask the panel questions during the Live Q&A. To wrap up, audience members were asked to complete a Feedback forms through the Chime Live app.
